Directions to Lake Ave Lock-up
We are located west of 94 (Eden's Expressway), the entrance drive is just east of Skokie Valley Material Co.'s entrance on the North side of the street. Follow the entrance drive north past the concrete wall. Lake Avenue Lock Up's office is an orange train caboose.

Short Term vs. Long Term Lease
Short & Long Terms storage leases are available. Discounts are offered on long term storage leases. 6 months for the cost of 5 1/2months. Note: The 1/2 month discount will be applied on the 6th month. Payment must be paid up front and a one time deposit will be required on all new leases. 12 months for the cost of 11 months. Note: The 1 month discount will be applied on the 12 month. Payment must be paid up front and a one time deposit will be required on all new leases.

Is electricity available within the storage unit?
Electricity is available in the warehouse units only.  Electricity is not available within mini storage units.  

What is a roll-up door?
Roll-up doors are the most common door in self-storage. They are accessed by sliding a latch and lifting the door upward, similar to the motion of a garage door. Roll-up doors allow you to maximize the usage of your space.

Do you offer RV/boat/car/motorcycle parking?
Lake Avenue Lock Up does not offer at this time.  No outside storage is available for vehicles.

How far in advance can I book a reservation?
We give you the flexibility to book a reservation up to 30 days in advance to help you plan ahead.

What are the payment terms?
Lake Avenue Lock Up strives to make your storage experience as hassle free as possible, including paying your bill. Typically, our leases are month-to-month but we also offer the flexibility of long-term leases. We also offer AutoPay. We can automatically charge your Visa®, Mastercard® or Discover each month. Or you can pay online in the "My Account" section.

Do you accept credit cards?
We accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover credit cards.

Can I pay my bills online?
Yes, paying your bill online is available through the account login.
